I love my dad dearly, and we're very close. In fact, he's one of my best friends now, after some bumpy early years. But these Covid years have revealed some surprising differences (I've kept my journaling private because these are touchy subjects). We've gotten through them but it's been something of a journey, among many ups and downs in our relationship over the past 60 years! I'm so glad he's been in my life all this time, and still is. So grateful for him.
