What were you like in the 90s?

More specifically, what were you scrapbook pages like in the 90s?
Have you been scrapbooking since back then?
I started scrapbooking in high school in the 70s. Those scrapbooks are more of a collection of tickets and snapshots from concerts and adventures. I did a little bit of scrapbooking in my college years. But mostly I was a party photographer for the campus company so I scrapbooked some of those photos but not many.
My scrapbooking really ramped up in the 90s when my daughter was born. Back then I was a chronological scrapper. We would go to the petting zoo and the next week I was scrapping the photos. I was obsessed with taking pictures and obsessed with scrapbooking them.
I used large format leather albums from Henzo that were about 13x16in and had tissue interleafs. I cut up the photos and mostly drew all over the pages. My style has certainly evolved since then but these books are a treasured keepsake and a history of my daughter’s childhood.
This trend to look back on the 90s brings up the importance of nostalgia and puts even more value on our scrapbooking. To look back and reflect on times gone by gives even more meaning to where we are today!
How did you scrap in the 90s?
