“To Top It Off”

Happy Spring weather is finally here in South Dakota, lifting our spirits for sure.  I am so excited to be bringing you this month’s Layering Challenge “To Top It Off”

This month I have chosen to focus on creating depth and dimension in your background by using various techniques such as layering with brushes, paint and transfers.  Feel free to clip colors, papers, paints, elements, whatever you want to them. And don’t forget to play with blending modes and other settings.  Dare to be adventurous and step outside your comfort zone.

To “top it off”,  add  your choice of  elements;  photos, greenery, florals etc.  I am not giving you a recipe to follow this month, but ask that you use a few of the following to create your  own masterpiece. Our team has joined in, providing gorgeous inspiration and Katie has been so generous to provide this freebie for us.

Use the following:
2 Brushes – (ex. photo grids, masks, transfers)
Paint splatters
Letter box word art is a great option for blending into your background

“Top it off” with: photo(s), florals, greenery, frames, ribbon
