Template Mashup – Happiness Recorded
Hi there! It’s Cori (@CoriK) here with our 2nd Template Mashup of January! I was drawn to these two gorgeous layered templates for our mashup. I loved the colors, photo spots and fun elements. I hope you’re inspired to record some happy moments and mash these two templates!
If this is your first time joining us, the rules are pretty simple – take parts from each of the templates and rearrange them on a new page of your own design. It’s ok to add a couple of additional KPD elements if you wish. Post your completed page in the Template Mashup Gallery and also in the January Participation Thread in the forum for points towards a store discount for completing challenges.

Recorded This Layered Template
Several team members were inspired to play along with this challenge and created some lovely pages. Let’s take a look!
First up, is this beautiful page by Sarah (@sterkeurs). In addition to the two templates, Sarah added the beautiful Chippy Blooms Printable Paper Pack 01 to the background. It’s like that paper was made for this mashup and blends so well! Fabulous page!
Next, Merrillee (@digigrandma) played along and created this wonderful page for her mashup. I absolutely love how Merr used one wooden frame to showcase that sweet photo. Her background paper and chosen elements are just perfect! Merr also included paper from the Vintage Artistry Tranquility Solids Paper Pack in her mashup. That background paper is a beautiful choice!
Stacia (@Stacia) joined the fun and created this fabulous page for the mashup. I love how great her photos work with the colors and elements on her page. I loved reading about her visit with her dad and now I have the urge to go start a puzzle. Haha! In addition to the two templates, Stacia added some paper from the ARToptions Neutrals Paper Pack 02.
And finally, we have this gorgeous page by Valerie (@nana_vg). Her page is wonderful and I love how she recolored the “recorded” element to perfectly match her photos. Val included the Dreamy Paper Pack 01 in addition to the templates for her mashup.
I’m always amazed at the lovely pages from these challenges. It’s fun to see how different they all look using the same templates! I hope you’re feeling inspired to play along. And don’t forget – the templates used for this challenge will be on sale this week!
