Something Old, Something New

Trace (tracermajig) here with our May Something Old, Something New challenge. I hope you are able to play along!

This month we are playing with papers. I have loved Katie’s recent Color Swatch Ochre and Color Swatch Charcoal collections and found a couple of old paper packs (and kits) that I think will pair nicely with them! Who remembers the Life Lines and Hey There kits?

Like with the other challenges, the rule is to use an older and newer product together. Feel free to use any paper from these packs but just in case you don’t have these in your stash, Katie has put together a freebie for you.

I love the way Mel (Britgirl) mixed these two busy papers! They work so well together along with that wonderful colour combination! I’m always inspired by the way Mel adds bits and pieces to her pages!

I wanted to challenge myself to mix two floral papers. I also wanted lots of dimension and I love using Katie’s Torn and Framed Layered Templates to do that! I love how this came together!
