Something Old, Something New

Hi friends! Welcome back for another Something Old, Something New challenge! It’s Trace (tracermajig) with you once again and this month we are working with botanical brushes! 

I loved Katie’s recent Moonlit Garden Transfers 04 pack and think it’s quite a versatile product.

I then chose a subtle and bold pair of older products to pair with the Moonlit Garden Transfers.

Katie has provided a freebie to get you started. Like last time, the only rule for this challenge is to use at least one of the old and new products together. Otherwise, feel free to go wherever your scrappy mojo takes you!

I love how Mel (Britgirl) used the brushes to add to her background design. They work like an extension of those great photos of the wonderful Maggie and Juno and add to the outdoors theme.

I (tracermajig) loved the boldness of the Flower Splatterings brush so I decided to make my whole background bold, black stamps. I think it helps make the colours in my photos and elements pop even more!
