Sketch Challenge: December

Good morning everyone! Sharon here with the last sketch challenge of the year!

My designs are often very “straight up and down”. I don’t usually place things on a slant, so I love to add a circular element which – to my mind at least – adds some movement to a page.

This month, we have included a large circular element that could be cut out of paper. Alternatively, you could use:

The design has space for two photos, but with a little tweaking, would also be perfect for highlighting one special shot.

Some of our talented CT ladies have already created a page based on the sketch.

First up is Kathy (Blackkathy) who has made that circular element the focus of her page by laying an ornate circular (oval), frame over a doily. This is such a soft and pretty layout!!

Next we have a special birthday layout from Valerie (nana_vg) which shows how when we’re using a sketch we don’t need to be constrained by the photo orientation – her landscape orientated pics work beautifully here!

Last of all, we have this gorgeous Christmas layout from Jana. You can see she has used a slide reel for her circle, but I think my favourite thing, aside from the cutest photos, is the addition of the Christmas fairy lights.

I hope these beautiful pages have inspired you to scrap some of your favourite photos from this or any other season!

Katie has put together a FREEBIE PACK . You are welcome to use whatever you like from the pack – or go it completely on your own!!

Don’t forget to post your 100% KPD product page in the December Challenge Participation Sign in Thread to earn store rewards at the end of the month.

Our CT members will post their pages along with complete credits in the Sketch Challenge Gallery as soon as they are able. We hope you can join us there!

Happy Scrapping!
