September Template Mashup #1: Embrace Every Moment

It’s time to mash again! Templates, that is! This is Merr (digigrandma) here with the two templates we’re featuring for this first Template Mashup Challenge this month. Sherry and Rachel, our Guest CT members from July and August, and Creative Team member, Valerie, gave me examples to inspire you to join in on this challenge.
First, the templates I chose are:
Inspiration Board Vol 08 LT 04

With these two templates, you have your choice of a variety of photo frame styles and plenty of elements and word art to chose from to create a new design. The only rule is to make sure you use parts of both templates. You can also choose to add extras from your Katie Pertiet Designs stash if you wish. Oh, and, another bonus is that the templates will be included in the Thrifty Thursday sale this week! It is smart to grab them while on sale because you can use the templates again and again.
Sherry’s Page (digi371)

Oh, yes, it is back to school time! I’m wishing Sherry’s granddaughter and all the other students starting a new school year a wonderful year of learning and fun experiences. Sherry skillfully changed the color of a ribbon to match her granddaughter’s pretty top. The four different poses are casual and so cute! Plenty of extra layers complete the finished design beautifully. Sherry added word art from Handscripted Back to School Pack 02 and a paper from Plainly Woven Paper Pack 12.
Valerie’s Page (nana_vg)

Valerie also features back to school photos on her page. This time it is back to school for the sophomore year of college! The title with the blue butterfly is woven into the design perfectly and she left a nice space for the journaling, too. Valerie chose a paper from Dreamy Paper Pack 03 for the background.
Rachel’s Page (rache77)

Rachel’s page features a tender and sweet photo of her with her son. The photo definitely takes center stage as it should and she surrounded the photo and layers underneath with circular brush work and three lovely clusters of embellishments. Rachel completed her page with a background paper from the Vintage Artistry Everyday Scrapbooking Bundle.
I appreciate the wonderful contributions from Sherry, Valerie and Rachel! Now, I hope you will join us and mash a design of your own. When finished with your page, please post in our Template Mashup Gallery and if you are going for Reward points to earn a discount in the store, please, also post in the September Challenge Participation Thread.
Have fun with this challenge and enjoy the process!
