Scraplift: CT

Welcome to the 5th Saturday Scraplift! I hope you are all surviving these crazy times and I do think there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon, with states beginning to open up. Today, we are lifting our own scrapper extraordinaire, Liz (lizj).  I think you will find loads of inspiration in her gallery.

Addie (agoymerac) chose this cute page to lift.

Here is her beautiful page, inspired by the split papers and hanging frame. She showcased her awesome hens and chicks garden she planted. Love the variety of the plants and how they are arranged! Her neutral paper choices are perfect for the photos and I, too, think the hanging frames totally work here. Perfect title and subtitle!

Addie used: Bold and Scripted Stamp Pack 24 (coming soon), Chandra Kit,  Curated Team Scrapbook Mix No. 05,  Vintage Artistry Natural Stack Layers , Vintage Photo Frames No. 40,   Frame Hangers No. 01.

Rachael ( myssp) chose Liz’s adorable fairytale page to lift.

Look at her gorgeous page with her sweet granddaughter! I love the mix of the bold word art with the defined bits. Very striking! Her colors are lovely as well and coordinate beautifully with her granddaughter’s dress.

Here is what Rachael used: Lake Lodge Checks + Dots, Junk Journal Collage Sheets 12,

As a retired wedding photographer, Candy (cnewby) chose this beautiful wedding page to lift.

Candy wanted to create some white space, which she did in a lovely way, providing a place for her journaling. I love her ripped paper edges that coordinate perfectly with the ripped photo frames! The peek of a doily and the bead scatterings add a great visual interest too. Really beautiful!

Here is what Candy used: Vintage Coastal Paper Pack No. 01,  Lightly Linens No. 28,Paper Reveals Layered Template Pack, Doily Edgers No. 01, Color Essentials Turquoise Element Pack, Hinge Pack , Color Essentials Mango Element Pack, Bead Scatterings No. 05d, Flourished Clusters Brushes and Stamps No. 02, Artsy Stripes Brushes and Stripes No. 01,
On the Edge Grunge No. 01, Ripped Frame Stack Layers No. 01

Audrey (adrianita) was inspired by this darling page of Liz’s.

Audrey had the same American Girl theme to showcase-wow! She liked the doilies behind the photo clusters and also the mix of a dotted paper with a solid. Her twisted stitches really tie everything together beautifully. These photos are so sweet and who doesn’t love little girls with their dolls! Wonderful lift! (P.S.-She made her own gemstones!)

Audrey used these products: Twisted Stitches 06, Bliss Scrapbook Bundle, Done with Doilies Layered Templates No. 02, Life Lines Confetti Layered Templates (used to make gemstones)
Deelen Element Pack, Artsy Splatter Strokes Brushes and Stamps No. 03, Arctic Whites Paper Pack No. 04, To the Sea Element Pack, Love Tickets {retired}

My heart is aching to go back to California and Liz’s recent beach page jumped right out at me!

I was amazed with the word art she created on her background and wanted to give that a try. I loved her beach photos and cluster and decided to scrap a few photos from our trip to Catalina Island a few years ago. I also used elements from two templates to create the look I wanted.

Products I used: Vintage Coastal Paper Pack No. 01, Big Picture Vol. 02 Layered Template No. 08, Vintage Coastal Solids Paper Pack, Sail Away Brushes and Stamps, Sandy Toes Brushes and Stamps, Right Now Layered Template, Vintage Coastal Layered Frames No. 02, Scribbled Overlays No. 02
