Saturday Scraplift: Would You Like to Swing on a Star?

Shannon (shannonr) here with the first Saturday Scraplift for November. This week, we will be lifting Angela (amcmillian). She has recently returned to the gallery and has been posting some amazing layouts. I picked this one to lift for this week. I loved how her design captured both the tropical setting that the photo was taken in but also to look like she was truly swinging on the page itself and not just in the photo. Every time I look at it, the song “Would You Like to Swing on a Star?” pops in my head.
The Creative Team has come up with a couple of lifts of our own to help get your creative juices flowing.
Sharon (shannamay) created this gorgeous page of her granddaughter experimenting with makeup. She hung her photos on the lower portion of her layout to match Angela’s photo placement. Love the gold frame to match the gold glitter makeup and the pink and gorgeous floral edge she created at the top of the layout.

Products used: All Hung Up 02, Smitten Element Pack and Indigo Garden Scrapbook Bundle.
Next up, Addie (AddieG)). She hung her photos of some family time at a brewery vertically instead of diagonally.

Products used: Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit 33 and Loosely Scripted Sentiments Brushes and Stamps 06.
I stuck pretty closely to Angela’s design but incorporated two photos from a long ago trip to South Dakota. And the tramway swings in the air so my photos fit the theme as well.

Products used: Chippy Foundations Paper Pack 06, Big Bottom Lift Classic Frames 03, Hinged Photo Frames 12, Layering Sentiments 05, Brushstroke Photo Masks 01, Vintage Mini Mix Kit 07, Traveler Blendable Layers 12, December Sparkles Element Pack, and Hanging Photo Frames 03.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
As always to get credit toward a coupon to use in the KPD store, be sure to post your layout in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the November Challenge Participation Thread.
Happy Scrapping!
Shannon (shannonr)
