Saturday Scraplift: Working with a 4-pack

Happy Saturday! I’m (Wendy) excited to share this week’s page with you all. Jana’s one of my favorite scrappers and this page grabbed me immediately when I saw it in the gallery. Not only do I love the historic story as I too live close to Chicago and see these lions often, but the design, colors and how she used the new products were just perfection! So, without further adieu, here’s the page:

I’m not the only one who loved the page. Jan (jmgiesi) grabbed some recent park photos that lent themselves perfectly to the page. We all leaned into the 4-pack of photos but Jan also kept with the journaling down the side, the outer brushwork and the hand drawn twists.

Julie (maggiemae) also joins us this week on the blog with her take. She also used 4 photos, a title line stamp and edge journaling. I love all her fun facts about the Observatory and the soft colored background.

And finally, here’s my page. As there’s no way to improve upon Jana’s perfection, my page also resembles hers a lot. I just grunged it up a bit since these pictures were snapped in our basement. 🙂
