Saturday Scraplift: Strip Away

Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s Amy L bringing you this week’s Saturday Scraplift. This week we are lifting this sweet page by Jan:
I think this page is perfect for Valentine’s Day with its pinks, hearts, florals and message of love! The design is inspired and lends itself to lots of pattern play. You are in no way limited to a Valentine’s theme with this one. Our Creative Team members had a lot of fun with it!
First up is Kathy, who also made a lovely page. Kathy kept to the color scheme and theme, and I love how she used the torn strips in her lift! Her patterned paper choices add just the right amount of variety without stealing attention away from these beautiful photos. Kathy’s accents are so tastefully done!
Supplies Kathy used: Torn and Framed Layered Template 04, ARToptions Rouge Chipboard, ARToptions Rouge Ephemera, ARToptions Rouge Ephemera Plus, ARToptions Rouge Alpha, ARToptions Rouge Transfers 02, ARToptions Rouge Papers 01, ARToptions Rouge Papers 02.
Next up is Addie, who took the chance to scrap a Christmas page. I love how Addie used a variety of vertical items including paper strips, lace, patterned paper, stitching, and trees! All very festive! Isn’t her kitty so cute and cozy on a blanket in front of the Christmas tree?
Supplies Addie used: Hanging Photo Frames 04, Christmas Garden Scrapbooking Bundle, Instant Artsy Woodland Trees 01, Handscripted December Brushes and Stamps 05.
Next up is Merr, who made a wonderful winter page with the most adorable photo of her grandson. I find these colors so serene and lovely. Another fabulous use of patterned papers, and the wood cutout behind the photo is just perfect.
Supplies Merr used: Vintage Winter Woods Stickers 01, Vintage Winter Woods Stickers 02, Vintage Winter Woods Paper Pack 01, Wood Veneer Patterns 02, Vintage Lines Winter Mini Mix Winter Bundle, Vintage Winter Woods Paper Pack.
In our family, we’re really excited that our granddaughter is playing softball for the first time this year. I used a rainbow background paper and added thin strips over it. I enjoyed this design so much!
Supplies I used: Big Bottom Lift Classic Frames 02, Chicken Wire 01, Spectrum Sherbet Flair Alphas, Spectrum Sherbet Postage Stamps, Spectrum Sherbet Scrapbooking Bundle, Spectrum Sherbet Strawberry Sentiment Transfers, Stamped Stitched Stars, Vintage Artistry Coral Stacks.
I hope Jan’s page inspires you as much as it did us! Please post your pages in the Saturday Scraplift gallery. And add them to the February Challenge Participation thread. Enjoy your scrapping!
