Saturday Scraplift: Monochromatic Triptych

Happy Saturday! It’s absolutely freezing here and that means it’s the perfect weekend for scrapping! I (Wendy) have chosen this stunning page (well, the design is stunning, Kathie’s accident was not) for inspiration this week. I love the monochromatic color scheme which works brilliantly with her dark hallway image and the triptych of photos. The large subtle background brush is the perfect accent to the page. And then her tiny title about her little oops…..genius. Thanks Kathie!

Lots of people wanted to show you how they were inspired this week. And I love how different all the pages are! Up first is Rae (bcgal00) with this wintery page.  Rae took her inspiration from the 3 photo layout an also kept a fairly monochromatic color scheme. Love the soft blue brush and her nod to a small title in the bottom corner.

Next is Sarah (sterkeurs) with a delicious page about her recent vacation beverages. Love the centered title with the perfect background brush accent as well as her sweet little pineapple detail at the bottom of the page. All of it really lets her photos take center stage.

Candy (cnewby) was also inspired by the triptych of photos and the subtle brush work. Her soft color palette was a gorgeous compliment to the photos as well.

Finally, we have Jheri’s page which keeps to the spirit of the page with 3 photos and a page border. She has brighter colors and brush work but they are the perfect complement to the girls’ sweet dresses.
