Saturday Scraplift: Going Vertical

Happy Saturday! Welcome back to the SSL. This week, I chose Stacia’s Thanksgiving page. I was really drawn to the vertical border and text work along with the photo group. The store has lots of great vertical borders, but Stacia took it a step further and created her own border design and I love it! As it’s the season for family get togethers, I thought a page that showcases lots of photos would help all of us capture our holiday events.

Up first this week is Cori (CoriK) with a great travel page. Love her layered photo cluster and the use of text brushes to mimic Stacia’s journaling box. The border edger is the perfect finishing touch.

Addie (AddieG) captured some awesome photos of Leonard’s adventures. Love how she made the design her own with the plaid background and the photo cluster up against the readymade layer.

Finally, here’s my take on the challenge. I made a page from our recent trip to France. I kept with a similar layout to Stacia, but chose a tipped horizontal title instead of journaling.

Have a wonderful weekend,
