Saturday Scraplift: Four Square

Hi all! It’s Amy L bringing you this week’s Saturday Scraplift. For this week’s lift, I’ve chosen this fun page by Mel:

I love Mel’s whimsical pages and use of color and patterns. And her dogs always make me smile, especially here with those loving licks! Mel’s design is cool with the offset photo stack and the inclusion of four photos within. The Creative Team had lots of fun with this one!

First up is Penny with another group of expressive photos. I think we’ve all felt like this little guy having to get our picture taken. Such darling faces on this one. I love the pretty layers Penny used to highlight the photos, as well as that sweet stitched heart on top!

Next is Angela, who went with the selfie theme, including more entertaining photos!

I think Angela’s use of patterned paper on this page is inspired; she used just the right amount to add interest without competing with the photos. She interpreted the design skillfully with the grid of blue frames. And the twist just sets everything off!

Next up is Wendy, who made a spectacular Disney page.

These photos make me want to go back again! So iconic. Wendy rotated the design, and her background has that great Disney vibe. Isn’t her little Mickey in the corner fabulous?

Lastly, I went with 3 rectangles instead of 4 squares on my photo collage. I like to find additional little things in the inspiration page to lift; this time, Mel’s title was a big help. It’s a great day when I get to pick up this little guy from school!
