Saturday Scraplift: Focus on the Detail

Hello!  Shannon (shannonr) here for this week’s edition of Saturday Scraplift.  This week, we will be lifting our talented Creative Team member, Joanne (jcaruth910).  I loved that she spread her photo across all the frames in the template and highlighted the elk with one of the frames to make it stand out.

As usual, the Creative Team has put together some additional inspiration for you to start your creative juices going for this challenge.

Stacia scrapbooked a past trip to New Zealand.  She filled the entire top portion of her page with her photo just as Joanne had and featured sheep in a couple of the frames and a boy in another.  Looks like a beautiful spot for a walk.

Next up is Julie (Julie DeGuia)-one of our Guest Creative Team Members.  Love the photos of her family’s visit to the tulip fields this spring and putting the focus on her family.  The subtle butterfly brushes in the background are a terrific touch.

I decided to scrapbook this photo of one of our flying club members getting ready to take off from the airport in Monument Valley.  I loved the perspective of this photo to show how big the rocks are in Monument Valley compared to an airplane.  That big rock also makes it a challenging airport to fly into.

I hope that Joanne’s layout or the other examples by the team will inspire you to create your own page to focus in on a detail.

In order to get credit toward a coupon to use in the KPD store, be sure to post your layouts to the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the October Challenge Participation Thread.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
