Saturday Scraplift: Faded Memories

June has arrived and Shannon (shannonr) here to host our first Saturday Scraplift of the month. This week we will be lifting Bob (bluedraft52). He created this great page of a trip to Auckland. I was drawn in by the four quadrants and the reduced opacity on some of his photos.
As usual, the Creative Team has come up with some additional inspiration for you.
Stacia has been on fire with layouts of her photos of the Oregon coast-this time of the sea life she sees on her walks during low tide on the beach. I especially love the photo of the starfish and using the border with a starfish to pull it all together.
Products used:Marker Photo Masks Brushes and Stamps 01, Readymade Layers: Beach Borders 01, Color Swatch Teal Add-On Paper Pack and Page Blends 12.
Next up Addie (AddieG). She did this gorgeous layout of her parent’s crab tree. I would love to have a flowering tree like that in my yard to gaze at.
Products used: Page Blends 07, Here Comes the Sun Brushes and Stamps, Bookshelf Flairs 02, ARToptions Spice Transfers 04, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat 02 and Krafty Garden Solids Paper Pack.
My niece recently graduated from college so I used this opportunity to scrapbook the photos my family took of that day.
Products used: Color Swatch Charcoal Scrapbook Bundle, Color Swatch Charcoal Transfers 02, Color Swatch Charcoal Ephemera Stackers, Color Swatch Charcoal Transfers 03, Painted Photo Masks 17, Stamped Blocks Stamp Pack 44, Handscripted Graduate Stamp Pack 02, ARToptions Viken Ephemera and Graduation Essentials 2020-2025.
I hope Bob’s layout or those of the Creative Team spark some ideas for you to create a page of your own. In order to get credit toward a coupon to use in the KPD store, be sure to post your layout in both the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the June Challenge Participation Thread.
I hope whatever you have planned-whether it is creating memories or documenting them-that you have a wonderful weekend.
Shannon
