Saturday Scraplift Challenge 4/22: Layers

Good Saturday Morning to you all. While scrolling through the gallery, I found this beautifully layered page by Candy (cnewby), that just struck me. It’s an amazing Recipe page which is great in itself, but I just loved the look of all the different layers and brushes. I hope you all feel as inspired as we did!

Our Merrilee (digigrandma) kept pretty close to the original design, using all kinds of lovely brushes that show off the (still) winter scenery in April. How amazing to have spotted that beautiful owl!!

Here are the items she used on her page:

vintage-blendable-layers-17/, ayering-pages-autumn-layered-template-07/, layer-works-1839/, color-swatch-toast-journal-bits/, from-my-bookshelf-paper-pack-02/, palette-textures-paper-pack-19/, bound-notebook-blends-01/

Sarah’s (sterkeurs) page is next. She found inspiration in the recipe idea and it came out looking quite beautiful!! I just love all those cool kitchen items.

Here is her list of supplies (I have to check on those cute utensils :))

classic-curled-photo-frames-07/, cabana-whites-paper-pack/, cooked-element-pack/, cooked-printable-journal-recipe-cards/, vintage-farmhouse-garden-solids-paper-pack/, vintage-farmhouse-garden-element-mix/, vintage-farmhouse-garden-sticker-bundle/, cottage-fields-layered-banners/, indigo-garden-element-mix/

Brenda’s (bbe) page is just adorable, all those layers are just so gorgeous. She kept them a little closer to her photo and the results are wonderful!!

Here is what Brenda used on her page!

product/folia-paper-pack/, color-swatch-blossom-scrapbooking-bundle/, spring-meadows-element-pack/, scrap-layers-layered-template-31/

This last page is mine. I tried to use the little more vintage looking layers on my page, considering the subject of the page…

Here are the items I used:

Crowning Affair Understated, Layering Pages AutumnLT 05 (items), Vintage Artistry Everywhere Defining words blends

I can’t wait to see what you all will come up with! Remember to post your lift in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery as well as in the April Challenge Participation Sign-in thread in the forum. Have a great weekend!
