Saturday Scraplift: Blended Angles

Happy Saturday! I am out of town helping my sister move into a new house which is incredibly exhausting. Luckily, this week’s scraplift is so fun, that lots of creative team members jumped in to help! I like to call Kathy (Blackkathy) the queen of angles because she uses angles so well with her photos and with background papers. But this page, with it’s great blended work and subtle angles, really worked for me. It’s hard not to love that photo just on its own, but her page design just elevates it! Love all the brushwork, edge work and the angled filmstrip frame.

Up first this week is Addie (agoyermac) with a page about her highly photogenic cat, Mack. She kept to the centered photo design with a blended edge treatment and an angled photo frame. It’s perfect.

Amy (Amy L) is up next with a page about her precious grandson. There’s nothing more precious than a kid reading with their Poppy! Amy kept with a similar soft teal color scheme and edge detail. She also used a single centered photo with subtle angles in the background layers. Love all her added details.

Up next is Erin (Ernie88) who captured this precious photo of her daughter taking a photo of her, while she takes a picture. (Did you follow that?) So adorable! Erin kept with the basic design and a similar color scheme. She also used a filmstrip and ribbon bow in her design.

As you can see, this page is such a great design that everyone kept fairly close to the original for their lifts. And there is nothing wrong with that! I am excited to see how the rest of you are inspired by Kathy’s design. Please remember to post your layouts in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the March Challenge Sign In Thread. Happy Scrapping!
