Saturday Scraplift: A Window Into Your World

Shannon (shannonroller) here with this week’s Saturday Scraplift. We are lifting this amazing layout by Carol (oldbag165). It really popped out in the gallery when she posted it. Awesome bird photography, colors and design.
As usual, the creative team has jumped in to help provide some additional inspiration.
Guest Creative Team Member, Valerie (nana_vg), used this lift to create a great heritage page using the window frame and shelf as her inspiration. Such fun story telling too.
Products used: Readymade Borders: Lila Bleu, Vintage Artistry Blush Ephemera, Vintage Artistry Collectors Ephemera, Mixed Media Window Frames 01, Vintage Artistry Sky Ephemera, Vintage Artistry Teal Ephemera, and Curated Favorites Paper Pack 10 Vintage.
Addie (agoymerac) took her inspiration from Carol’s bird photos, the window frame, filmstrip and starburst to create this delightful page. How fun to have those beautiful birds frequent her feeder.
Products used: Seasons Finest Element Pack, Seasons Finest Solid Paper Pack, Colored Filmstrips 08, Holiday Foliage Layered Edgers 02, Lens Flares: Colors 01, Stamp Sets: Wild World, Colorful Paint Layers 03, and Messy Stitched Borders White 01.
Cori (CoriK) took her inspiration from the sunburst to include photos of a sunrise walk. She included the lineup of three photos, the window, a filmstrip as part of her shelf and a sunburst in the background to create this page.
Products used: Vintage Artistry Beached Bundle, Mixed Media Burst Layers 02, Thin Classic Photo Frames Curled and Flat 01, and Golden Seasons Solid Paper.
I also took my inspiration from the window frame, the shelf Carol created, the starburst and her color scheme to create my layout about my admiration for the accomplishments of Mother Joseph-a historical figure of importance in Vancouver, Washington. She was such an amazing woman. I worked at the hospital that this statue of her is located for many years and still do on occasion. A larger version of this same statue is in the National Statuary Hall Collection at the U.S. Capitol.
Products used: Curated Studio Mix 21, Artsy Lace Clusters 02, Stamped Bookshelf Sentiments 01, Palette Textures 09, Lost Lace Papers 01, Evergreen Season Solids, Totality, Painted Doily Masks 01, and Mixed Media Window Frames 01.
I hope that Carol’s layout and those of the Creative Team will get your creative juices going and that you will participate in this week’s lift with us. As always, be sure to post your layout in both the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the February Challenge Sign In Thread to get credit for a discount coupon in the KPD store. Happy Scrapping!
