Plenty of Pumpkins Template MashUp Challenge
Pumpkins seem to be the perfect topic for a scrapbook challenge at this time of the year. The store at Katie Pertiet Designs has many layered templates featuring pumpkins. I have chosen two of them to be featured in the latest Template MashUp Challenge. They will be on sale this week! I hope these templates will inspire you to design your own page.

Our Creative Team has prepared some creative inspiration pages to give you great ideas of ways to use the various elements in these two templates to design your own page.
The first inspiration page was designed by Valerie (nana_vg.) She used the large frame from the Big Picture template to hold her adorable photo and combined it with the frame arrangement from the Layer Works template. Her addition of some great fall elements, perfect journaling and a leafy background completed this lovely page. In addition to the featured templates, Valeria used Spot Dots 25 Paper Pack, Vintage Artistry in the Leaves Paper Pack and Vintage Artistry in the Leaves Solids Paper Pack.
The next page was designed by Stacia. She had lots of fun photos from her family’s trip to the Fruit Market so she used photo frames from both templates to hold them all! She added in a perfect pumpkiny colored background and lots of fun leafy elements to finish her page. It really captures this great family outing. In addition to the featured templates, Stacia used Bound Paper Pack 14 and Textured Essentials 06.
Our third inspiration piece is by Sherry (digi371.) I like the very different direction Sherry took with her MashUp. It really illustrates the variety that can be achieved using the same two templates for inspiration! Sherry used the mask from the Layer Works template for her cute photo and combined it with the title and background brushes from the Big Picture template. Simple but very creative! Her only additional element was the Maybe Tomorrow Paper Pack.
For my page, I made a frame of the diagonal strips for my main photo. It was fun choosing elements to use around it! My additional element is Monthly Memories Paper Pack Volume 3 No 5.
