Let’s Blend Challenge – Filmstrip Blends

Hello, Joanne (jcaruth910) here with this month’s Let’s Blend Challenge. Katie’s Filmstrip Blends are such a nice addition to the other filmstrips in the store, and the will be the focus of our challenge this month. So let’s get started!

My fellow Creative Team members have created some lovely examples of how to use them. First up is Valerie, who used them to anchor her hinged photos, but also clipped some photos inside of the Film Strip Blend. Here are the products she used: Film Strip Blends 01, Curated Studio Mix 43, Hinged Photo Frames 04, Striping Graphic Curves Brushes and Stamps 01,  Ombre Essentials Paper Pack02

For my page, I clipped a photo and some word art to two of the openings and blended in a transfer and some brushwork underneath it. I also changed the blend mode to multiply. Here are the products I used: Weathered Market Solids paper pack, Weathered Market paper pack, ARTpack Juniper Pine Brushes and Stamps, Weathered Market Transfers, Filmstrip blends 1, Weathered Market Element Pack
