Let’s Blend Challenge – Blended Corners

Blended corners is the subject for this month’s Let’s blend challenge. There are quite a few “corner” masks in the store and they are so fun to use on your pages. For this page below, I used the Watery corner included in the freebie. To give it more punch, the mask and photo were duplicated. But then to bring out the color of those beautiful maple leaves, I just duplicated the photo, and did NOT clip it to the mask. Add a layer mask to the photo and then invert it by clicking Command + I (Mac) or Control + I (PC), and brush in the portion of the photo you want to see. I set that layer to soft light to give it a more blended look.

Here are the products used: Canvas Color Mix 17, Autumn Leaves Brushes and Stamps, ARTpack Fall Brushes and Stamps, Watery Corners and Edges

For the second page, I used one of Katie’s Partial Page Masks, but transformed it to fit up in the right corner and clipped a paper and adjusted it to fit the way I wanted. From there I added my photo on the left side, and added embellishments.

Products: Stringy paint 1, Vintage Artistry in the Leaves Solids, ARToptions Mini mix 30, Traveler Blendable Layers 13, Hand Drawn Fall lines 13, Partial Page Masks 6, Country Harvest Layered Frames 1

Katie has provided a wonderful freebie to get you started, and I am looking forward to seeing all your work in the Gallery! Don’t forget to share your page in the Let’s Blend Challenge thread and also update the November Challenges participation thread if you would like to earn store rewards.
