Let’s Blend Challenge

Hi everyone, Joanne here with this month’s Let’s Blend Challenge. We will be working with Blendable Ephemera this month. There are so many ways to use it. Blend a photo, another blendable or use it as a foundation to your page; let your imagination run wild. Katie has provided a wonderful freebiefeel free to us as much or as little of it as you would like.

Three members of our very talented Creative Team have created some wonderful, inspiring layouts.

First up is Kathy (Black Kathy).  She took a portion of a Blendable Layer template and then blended that into the Blendable Ephemera. Genius! Her black and white photo is goes perfectly with the color scheme she chose for her page. Here are the products she used:

Blendable Layers 42 – Clipped to Freebie from Katie
Dictionary Page Overlays 2
Black, White and Tan – Ribbon modified and recolored
Color Essentials Pink Ribbons and More – recolored
Vintage Garden District Stickers 1
Love My Words Brushes and Stamps

Next, one of our guest CT members, Jen (jdipzinski) blended this beautiful photo of the sunset after a thunderstorm right on to the Blendable Ephemera.  Her list of products:

Our second guest CT member, Karen (kaclink) used a lovely photo of hydrangeas taken at a winery – what’s not to like here? Flowers and wine. 😉 Products used:

Vintage Artistry Lilac Paper Pack
Blendable Ephemera 02
Blendable Layers 12
Blendable Layers 57 Blendable Ledgers 03
Watery Blumes 06
Painted Photo Masks Brushes and Stamps 10
Cutting Files: Fused Words 05
Blendable Layers 114

The thought for my page was to possibly us it as a cover for a book. Kelly’s templates are perfect for my photos taken up in the mountains. I blended the blendable from the freebie into the Blendable ephemera and went from there. (try to read that sentence back three times!)  Products used, in addtion to the freebie:

Vintage Makers Ephemera Plus pack
Vintage Makers Paper pack 1
Field Guide Folders Layered Template 4

I hope these examples give you a jump start on your creative process. I have linked the freebie above and please don’t forget to post your layouts in the Let’s Blend Challenge Gallery, as well as the July 2025 Challenge Participation Thread to earn store rewards.

Happy Blending!

Joanne
