Kit-Centric Challenge January 2025

Hello, Valerie (nana_vg) here with this month’s Kit-Centric Challenge post — the first of the new year. Let’s continue the celebration of the new year by using this amazing kit/bundle, Antiquarian Artistry 01. While many people may be making layouts from Christmas or Winter at this time of year, I’m sure we all have great photos to use with this kit/bundle. The team has made some amazing and inspiring pages to get your creativity flowing. The challenge for you is to make a page using the kit/bundle on the majority of your page. Most of the team members used the bundle and an additional element or two, but know that using a few other KPD items is totally fine for the challenge. I found the Antiquarian Artistry 01 Scrapbooking Bundle to be versatile, as did the team. It’s amazing that we used the same bundle yet create very different layouts.

So, let’s get this challenge started with Creative Team Member Liz’s (lizziet5) layout about her adorable granddaughter who’s into pretty dresses AND diggers. Be sure to check out the beautiful layouts in her gallery. In case  you don’t know, some of Liz’s layouts end up as templates available in the store.

Liz used the Antiquarian Artistry Scrapbooking Bundle, Photo Clusters 56, Chimayo Element Pack, and Malene Element Pack.

Next up is Creative Team Member Brenda’s (bbe) layout of her adorable granddaughter who graces so many layouts Brenda creates. The journaling on her pages is so sweet. What a treasure for her granddaughter when she gets old enough to look at the pages and read what her grandmother wrote.

Creative Team Member (myssp) creates such amazing layers on her layouts. She’s the team member who hosts the Layer It On Challenges, so be sure to check our her gallery as well.

On this layout Rachael used the Antiquarian 01 Scrapbooking Bundle and Hand Drawn Photographer 01.

Next, Creative Team Member, Sharon (shannamay) created this layout. I love how she extended her photo beyond the frame. I love looking at her layouts. They’re all very different and very creative. Sharon hosts the Sketch Challenge each month, and it’s a fun one to participate in. So be sure to check it out.

Sharon used the Antiquarian Artistry 01 Scrapbooking Bundle and Brush Stroke Stamps 02.

Creative Team Member Julie’s (julie-deguia) created this layout of an adorable little guy. Julie is as talented at multi photo pages as she is at single photo pages. Be sure to check out her gallery.

Julie used the Antiquarian Artistry 01 Scrapbooking Bundle and Bracketed Sentiments 03 Brushes and Stamps.

I found this bundle to be very versatile. I used it to create this layout of the changes and growth our future great grandson is experiencing safely in his Mommy’s belly. I’ve done several layouts of baby ultrasounds and Mommy’s profiles for his first year album.

I used only the Antiquarian Artistry 01 Scrapbooking Bundle for my layout.

My favorite part of any challenge is to see the variety of layouts that can be created from a single collection or example. I’m looking forward to seeing yours grace our gallery. I’m sure they will show many more ways this kit/bundle can be used.
