June Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone,

Sharon here, with this month’s sketch challenge. This month you have an opportunity to rifle through your stash (or the store’s) pocket cards. There is bound to be something that fits your page theme. Of course, you can always opt to use patterned paper or journaling in those places!! There is space for two photos and space for a title or wordart. The design is anchored by two doilies which could be swapped out for other circular elements. First up is Valerie (nana_vg) with this lovely musical page. I love the way Val starts with the sketch and then makes it completely her own. I can see the circular element in the slide reel, the tag and the title placement, but her design is anchored by appropriate brushwork and she has added an extra photo. Brilliant!
