July Sketch Challenge
Good morning everyone,
Sharon here, with a new sketch for you to work with this month.
With this sketch we’ve given you the opportunity to “layer up”, with a long tall empty frame as the basis for the design. The sketch has space for two photos, room for a good sized title and/or wordart as well as a spot for a few lines of pertinent journaling. There is also a perfect place for some of Katie’s beautiful florals.
Several of our CT friends made a page based on this sketch to inspire you further.
First up is Rachael (myssp), with this gorgeous layout. She’s replaced the double frame with a single, and used a lovely ornate frame as her “empty”. I just love the beautiful metal bookplate that holds her journaling.

Next up is Valerie (nana_vg), who has created this delicious beach layout. I love the combination of the Kraft frames with the red, white & blue colour scheme. Valerie has moved elements around to allow for an extra photo and it looks just great!

Lastly we have one of Mel’s (Britgirl), trademark eclectic pages about her Best Girls. Don’t you just love all the little bits and pieces that look like they’ve just all been collected up off Mel’s desk. And that background colour is swoon worthy!! She has tipped the sketch sideways and replaced the double frame with a single – and isn’t it clever, the way it tucks into the page with the lace and flowers threaded in behind it!
