iTunes Challenge: October

Hi friends, it’s Trace (tracermajig) here again for another iTunes cover challenge. I thought it would be good to have some Halloween inspiration this time as it is just around the corner!

Halloween hasn’t always been a thing in Australia but it has been catching on in recent years. With that said, I tried to choose an album cover that could be used for pure Halloween inspiration or that could be interpreted any way you like!

This is definitely a design that could be used for any holiday or occasion. Here’s some ideas off the top of my head.

  • A big Christmas tree with a ‘forest’ of small trees along the bottom.
  • A big present with a cluster of smaller presents.
  • A big star with a collage of smaller stars.
  • For a love theme you could use hearts.
  • How about a large sun with a rainbow and clouds for a summery page?

Rae (bcgal00) took on the pumpkin theme for her page. How gorgeous are those foggy pumpkin patch photos? The elements and background paper she used makes you feel as though you are right there in the patch!

I love where Liz (lizziet5) went with this challenge. This page screams Halloween and I love how the bats look as though they are flying right off the page! So much fun!

Rache (rache77) created a large cut out circle in her page and I love the impact! The haunted house, bats and collage of Halloween goodness at the bottom of the circle just work so well together! I also love how the black and white stripes at the top and bottom of the page frame the layout!

For my page, (tracermajig) I really felt inspired to create a Halloween scene. I loved the big moon, clouds and bats that were in the original inspiration and my mind went from there!

Make whatever you feel inspired to create!
