Hurray for Red, White and Blue! Template MashUp Challenge
We are smack in the middle of Flag Day and the Fourth of July. So what would be the perfect theme for a Template MashUp Challenge? Why, red, white and blue, of course! I have chosen two patriotic templates from the KPD store (they are on sale this week!) The challenge is to combine pieces from the two templates to create your own unique page. You can add a few additional items to complete your page. Here are the chosen templates:
Our Creative Team had fun with the patriotic theme and mashed templates to create some great inspiration pages to give you some ideas for your own page.
The first inspiration page is from Brenda (bbe) and features the most adorable photos! She combined many of the elements from both templates to create an eyecatching and interesting background for her photos. In addition to the featured templates, Brenda used Blue Skies Add-On Paper Pack and Page Fade 02.
The next inspiration page was designed by Sherry (digi371.) Her page documents a “Best Day” for sure! I really like the way she used some of the papers from the template and clipped them to her photo frames. So clever! Sherry used one of the new Text Texture #3 papers for a perfect background for her page.
For my inspiration page, I scrapped a page of my nephew, son and grandson at my grandson’s USAFA Commissioning Ceremony. Where the other inspiration pages feature cute little girls, mine features handsome young men! The only additional product I used was a paper from the new Text Texture Paper Pack No 3.
