Today we celebrate
the quiet heroes
who gave their lives
for our
freedom

Today we celebrate and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving to protect our country. Among those is my father-in-law whom I never knew and whom my husband never knew either as he died in Korea shortly after my husband was born.

May those who died serving our great country always be remembered today and every day.
