Graphic Challenge September 2025: It’s Time!

Hi everyone! Amy L here welcoming you to the Graphic Challenge, where we use a graphic as inspiration for a scrapbook page. Here’s this month’s inspiration:

This month’s challenge is to use a clock on your page. Katie’s clocks are some of my favorite embellishments; they are especially beautiful in clusters. There are clocks available in this challenge’s freebie (see below). You could use the Clock Parts or Time Clusters series shown here or any number of standalone clocks in her kits. Some page ideas I thought of:

1. Use a clock in a Back to School page.
2. Use a clock in a vintage layout.
3. You can use them in a Day in the Life or Project Life page.
4. Scrapbook how time flies!

There are so many directions to go here, and the Creative Team delivered when I asked for examples!

First up is Linda, who scrapbooked one of my favorite subjects of hers: her grandson Sam! I have watched this handsome young man grow up through Linda’s pages, and I was delighted to see her photos of him over the years. What a fabulous idea for a page about time, and her clock borders are the perfect symbols!

Supplies Linda used: Watercolor Sketchbook 01 Solids Paper Pack, Starry Overlays 01, Time Cluster Layers 01, Journal Strip Stamps 01, Simply Flourished Paper Pack 05, Layering Sentiments 02, Photo Clusters 31, Drop Shadow Styles.

Next up is Mel who used the time theme to illustrate a poignant moment: her daughter returning to university. As a mother, I remember that feeling well. I love how Mel picked up the magenta and navy tones from the sweet photos; the sunny pops of yellow tell me that she is happy for her daughter’s success and looking forward to their next meeting! Such a sweet and lovely page!

Supplies Mel used: Challenge freebie (see below), Monthly memories vol 2 foundations 10, Monthly memories vol 2 vintage pack 10, Monthly memories vol 2 element pack 10, Monthly memories vol 2 pocket cards 10, Chalkboard summer fun, Hand scripted summer 03, Clock parts 7, Clock parts classics 1.

Finally, I made a page celebrating how much I love mornings in retirement. Although I used a clock on my page, I’m very happy that it represents the clock on my kitchen wall instead of my alarm clock!

Supplies I used: Challenge Freebies (see below), Color Swatch Toast Collage Sheets, Color Swatch Toast Paper Pack, Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit 33, Documenting Essentials 04, Stacked Up Frames 01, Stamped Blocks 17.

Katie has provided a freebie here. I hope this month’s image and the team pages will inspire you to take part in this challenge!  Please post your pages in the Graphic Challenge Gallery as well as the September Challenge Participation Thread. Enjoy your scrapping!
