Graphic Challenge August 2025: Vintage Seed Catalogs!

Hi everyone! Amy L here welcoming you to the Graphic Challenge, where we use a graphic as inspiration for a scrapbook page. Here’s this month’s inspiration:

I love the artistry of a vintage seed catalog. There are many examples of these in the Katie Pertiet Designs store. In preparing this challenge, I discovered the wonderful Monthly Memories Vol. 02 Vintage Packs. These are beautiful collections in gorgeous color palettes, and they contain seed catalogs along with garden ephemera and other goodies. I used a few from the Monthly Memories Vol. 02 Vintage Pack 02 in this month’s freebie, found here.

As usual, the dependable Creative Team quickly responded to my request to give this challenge a try, and I can’t wait to show you where they were led! First is Merr, who found the most special photo of herself as a child, standing with her grandparents in their garden. I absolutely love how Merr used the seed catalog as inspiration for the beautiful florals she added. What lovely colors to sweep across a page!

Next is Rachael who, as always, created a stunning page! I love how Rachael layers so creatively, especially with text. The black and white photo is just the sweetest, and looks so pretty against the orange and pink!

Next, we have Jen whose page is so creative! She used the vintage theme throughout, from the cool photos to the title font. I want to see this charming place! I love how she bordered the page with the pretty flower baskets.

Finally, I was inspired to scrap a photo of my roses in spring, accompanied by a verse that has been on my mind lately.
