Get Inspired Challenge: Home Decor – November

Good morning everyone,

This is Sharon with your Get Inspired Challenge for November (already?!?)

This image firstly caught my eye because of the beautiful patterned tiles – and then because of that particular green which is always a favourite of mine!

The tile pattern and the blocks of green made me think of horizontal strips of paper.

But then I noticed all the lovely woodwork: the table, the shelf and the utensils in natural, but also the gorgeous whitewashed ceiling.

I love all the cream, and the pops of bright green, yellow and red.

And as a quilter – what’s not to love about that floor!!

I asked our Creative team if the image inspired anyone else and I had several takers.

Rae (bcgal00) pulled out the greens and the browns and referenced that floor with triangle and quatrefoil brushes.

Jheri also played with that green – with pops of yellow sunflowers for her lovely layout

And Merr’s (digigrandma) whitewashed picket fence against the tiles paper is adorable!

I went with that horizontal theme. I used the tiled paper and pops of bright green, yellow and red against a whitewashed background. A brush reminiscent of that floor finished off the bottom of my page.

I do hope you are inspired to create a page along with us. Our pages with complete credits will be posted in the Get Inspired Gallery and I look forward to seeing your page there too. Katie has been generous with a FREEBIE pack to help you along 🙂

Don’t forget to add your 100% KPD designs to the November Challenge Participation Thread to earn shopping rewards.

Happy scrapping everyone!
