February Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone!

Sharon here with this month’s sketch challenge. I’m not a huge journaler – short and to the point is usually my style. I do know that lots of you like to get the whole story down and so this month we have got a lot of journaling space. I hope you can tell a good story with this one that also has space for two photos as the sketch stands – but of course change it up to suit yourself!

So here it is!

CT member Valerie (nana_vg), did just that – changing up the photo cluster to suit her pics, but taking advantage of the journaling space to document a special birthday.

But – if journaling is not your thing – or not required to tell your story – never fear – this design can work for you too!

Look at what Julie (Julie DeGuia), did here! She has used some long skinny wordart – Fine Lines Page Titles 07 in that journaling space and it looks so cool. I just LOVE her colours – so pretty!

Lori Ann (lmaggs), did something similar with Worth Repeating Stamp Pack 39  and like Julie – her colourwork is masterful. Both layouts look so crisp and clean!

And then last but definitely not least we have Shannon’s gorgeous page where she completely replaced the journaling strip with a blended photo – so beautiful!

I hope these talented ladies have inspired you to take up the sketch challenge this month! We hope to see your layout in the  Sketch Challenge Gallery  where our CT members will shortly post their layout with complete product lists.

Katie has provided a  FREEBIE that includes the wood veneer pieces, the small stringed tag and the frames.
