February Ad Challenge – Are You In The Mood?

Hello!  Brenda  (bbe) here,  and I’m thrilled to be hosting my first Ad Challenge.

Mood boards are everywhere these days, and they can be every bit as inspiring for scrapbooking projects.  Below, you will find the example I chose for us to lift.  I feel like the possibilities with this example are endless.  I love the soft, clean geometric design with a few words and thoughts scattered throughout.  These members of our Creative Team have put their creativity to work with this design in mind.

Katie has generously provided a freebie to help get you started here:  FREEBIE

Addie (AddieG) designed this first example, and who doesn’t love a page dedicated to our best friends?  It features her adorable Leonard,  who by the way, L O V E S to play with ribbons.  This is simply darling!  The mixture of black and white photos, along with the colored photos, is visually appealing.  Her journaling is perfect and will remind her of these cute little moments in time, forever.

Next up is Karen. (grandmaK)  She wanted to include this quote in her beautiful, fun photo arrangement and it works beautifully.  She also wanted to sprinkle beads and speckles throughout, which looks great with the overall design. Wouldn’t you love to know what these girls are giggling about?  I would!

This page design by Cori (CoriK) has it all.  I love the beautiful photos and colorful stamps at the bottom of the page, along with the textured paper and swirl stamp.  The wordart and title look great together.  Additionally, Cori included names!  Such a simple thing to do, but how many times do we forget to do that, and then decades later, you’re asked who is who, and you can’t remember?  I love that idea!

Last up is mine, and it features my favorite subject,  (the light of my life) my granddaughter.  When I have more spots to fill than I have photos, I’m happy to include a few colors and patterns that work well with the photos I do have.
