Creative Team Spotlight Scraplift: Kathy Black

Welcome to the 5th Saturday of the month which means, a special SSL. This week we are featuring Kathy (Blackkathy) and you are free to choose any page to lift from her amazing gallery. You can see here gallery HERE.

Up first this week is Penny (PennyH) who took inspiration from Kathy’s page entitled “MWAH”.

Penny was quick to say she lifts Kathy often, and was grateful to be able to help feature here on the blog. 🙂 Here’s here take using the same kit/color scheme but showcasing this gorgeous black and white photo.

Valerie (Nana_vg) was inspired by the notebook page below.

She kept with the spiral notebook and floral themes for her page about the Pantages Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

Our next inspired team member is Amy (Amy L) who used the following page as her jumping off point.

I love how she took a winter snow page and created a fun spring page. She kept the centered design and blended photo frame on a soft textured background.

Finally, here is my (Wendy) lift. I chose a beach page to feature a recent Hawaii vacation photo.

I did a lot of recoloring but stayed fairly true to her design otherwise.

There is so much great inspiration in Kathy’s gallery I have no doubt you can find a page to lift. Can’t wait to see your creations in the gallery! Please don’t forget to post your layouts in both the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the March Rewards Participation Thread.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
