Color Challenge: Spring Pastels

Despite everything going on in the world right now, it is amazing how mother nature has provided us with the most beautiful spring that I can ever remember. Perhaps it is because we are spending more time outside than we ever have before that I am just noticing things in a different way. Walks outside to escape the house and time in the garden with out with our families, killing time that would normally be spent at kids’ sports and spring activities have made us appreciate the most beautiful spring.

The colours of Easter are echoed outside right now with tulips and hyacinths and that is the theme of this month’s Colour Challenge: Easter Pastels.

Think pale blues, light pinks, fresh yellow of new ducklings and spring greens of the new grass sprouting. Easter eggs and pastel icing decorated sugar cookies and the hope for things in the future. That is what spring is about.

Here are a few photos to inspire your creativity:

Enjoy a rich tapestry of beautiful blooms in a trio of cool, pastel shades with our ‘Sommelier’ Muscari collection. This perfectly balanced blend combines three of the best grape hyacinths which coordinate wonderfully and naturalise over time, draping themselves into a full, elaborate bouquet of colour in borders or patio containers. Easy-to-grow and reliable muscaris like these are so easy to please and perfect for anyone who wants low-maintenance spring colour. They grow well in most condition
