Color Challenge: Soft light on snow

Hello and welcome to the first Color Spots challenge of 2025! This year we’ll be tempting you with more palettes to work with for your pages.
For this month, I’m still in my cosy mode, favouring sweaters and heated blankets, but I do like to look outside at wintry scenes.
I chose this as my inspiration piece as I like the hint of warmth in the sunlight on the roofs.  

Members of the creative team were happy to help create inspiration pages for the challenge to give you some ideas. 

First up is Trish (G T), who created this lovely artsy page to showcase a gorgeous sunset over the Gold Coast. I love the stacked frames, and simple journalling elements.

Next up is Jan (jmgesi) with this fun page about relaxing over the vacation. I love that photo, I can just imagine the relaxation coming from it, and the description, so true. We need to allow ourselves time to switch off completely. I love Jan’s use of hand-drawn frames, it all adds to a fun vibe for the page.

Last but certainly not least is Carol (Carollee) with this lovely tribute to her husband’s paintings. I love the frame choice, looking like a window out to that gorgeous sandscape, and the paint effects really add to the overall effect.  Carol used
