Color Challenge: Let’s go to the beach

Hi, Chrissy here with a new Color challenge. For me the school term is done, the sun is shining (at times – I am in Scotland) and I’m ready for a summer vacation. I found this image when I was looking for a summery picture to go with my last messages of the term for my classes. I love the dreamy view looking to the horizon. Is that a boat? Is it a small island? I can also see these colours working for summer days out or as a calm peaceful palette for many topics of pages, including B&W photos or vintage layouts.

First up is Amy (AmyL) with this super cute page of a trip to the beach. How adorable are these photos? I love the photo mask she used to add texture, and the title wordart is perfect with its transparency allowing the photos to shine.

Next up is Addie (AddieG), who used the palette for this fun page of friends getting together. I love the border ribbons on the left hand side, and the angle of the main photo adds interest.

Last but certainly not least is this wonderful page by Stacia showing a trip to Rio De Janeiro, it must be quite the sight to see this statue. I love the clusters of elements used here to add depth to the page and the mix of b&w and color photos.
