April Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone,

I trust most of you are enjoying the first glimpses of Spring? Over here, we are at last beginning to see some cooler days – it IS almost Easter after all!

It’s Sharon (Shannamay) here, with another sketch to inspire you – I hope!

This is a great layout for a “hero” shot if you have one, but of course you can ring the changes in any way you choose.

Our FREEBIE this month includes the blue file divider (which of course you could use as a clipping mask for any coloured or patterned paper), the circles cutout that forms the base of the design, as well as a DIY epoxy flair. I’ve included this so that you can have a go at making your own title flair if you choose.

Three of our Creative Team ladies have made pages based on the sketch to inspire you this month.

First up we have Valerie (nana_vg) who chose a photo frame with a different orientation to suit this gorgeous photo of a handsome new arrival. I just love her ‘BFF’ flair and the sweet poem that forms her journaling!

Next up we have this lovely page from Lori Ann (lmaggs) celebrating a sleep over with the “littles”. I love all the gorgeous elements she has used, but especially the row of file tabs along the top of the page (tucking that idea away for another day!!).

Then, we have this stunning layout from our Layers Queen Rachael (myssp), which shows how a simple sketch design can really be turned into something rather marvelous!

Happy Scrapping everyone!
