Doggone Cute Template MashUp Challenge

Welcome to another Template MashUp Challenge! This challenge is a simple one: use the elements from two templates and mash them together to create something new! You can add in some additional elements to complete your page. That’s it! Pretty simple and lots of fun.

These are the templates that have been chosen this time. They both have canine elements, but these could be changed out and made into a page about another type of pet…or anything else of your choosing! These templates will be included in this week’s sale.

Our Creative Team has prepared three pages, mashing these templates in different ways, to give you a bit of inspiration. We hope you will be inspired to create your own”mashed up” page!

The first page is from Amy (AmyL) and features the adorable Charlie. Amy’s page uses just one adorable photo surrounded by many of the cute elements from the two templates. She also used those great little paw prints in her background! Amy’s addition of the neutral stripes really finished off her page perfectly!

The next inspiration page is from Julie (MaggieMae) and features the sweet Mollie Malone. She combined the multi photo cluster from one template with that cute word art from the other template. I really like the way she added her journaling into one of the photos blocks and that bold page border!

For my page, I used some new photos of the sweet Miss Rosie and her “brother” Moose. Thank goodness my granddaughter posts lots of photos on Facebook for me to use! While Amy and Julie’s pages were more monochromatic, I chose to include a little color. I pretty much rearranged the elements from the two templates to fit in with my photos and didn’t add any other pieces or parts.
