Scraplift: Tic Tac Grid

Happy Saturday! Here in the Midwest we are getting a brutal temperature drop for May. As if this year has not been crazy enough! I was hoping to plant some more flowers for Mother’s Day but I’m really glad I didn’t buy them yet. Planting flowers and veggies is not the only hobby we are doing around here. I don’t know about your houses, but we also play more games during this quarantine. Card games, dominoes, Bears and Babies (don’t ask), etc. So this tic-tac-toe inspired page by Terri (Goingtothesun) caught my eye in the gallery. I think the grid can be used in lots of different ways. And the sentiment is sweet and so real right now.
I had lots of people who wanted to play with this grid this week. First up is Rachael (myssp) with this sweet page. Love her tic-tac-toe style grid, color scheme and the sweet page edger she made.

And using the game of tic-tac-toe as her inspiration, Audrey (Adrianita) ended up with a scrabble inspired page (but with a grid background…so clever!)

And finally, here’s my take. I kept with the tic-tac-toe grid but actually used a photo frame grid and deleted the outer edges. Life feels like it’s in a bit of a holding pattern right now but my son was finally able to start flight school and I had to have a “first day of school” photo. 😉
