July Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone,

Sharon here, with a new sketch challenge for July. This month’s sketch has a large paper piece topped by a small 2 photo cluster to one side. The whole is tied together with one of Katie’s gorgeous photo wraps.

Four of our Creative Team have designed pages based on this sketch for your inspiration.

What would be a sketch challenge without a page from Valerie (nana_vg)? While Val has stuck quite closely to the sketch, I really love the addition of a title and the musical brushwork that helps to tell the story. Gorgeous colours too!

Next up we have this lovely hydrangea page from Lind (earlofoxford). Hydrangea Envy is right! You’d have to be a much better gardener than me to get blooms like that where I live!! I love that Linda has used a large photo instead of a paper piece – beautiful!

Then we have this sweet layout from Sherry. She has rotated the sketch to suit and layered up some paper filled photo frames – brilliant! Again – the colour choices here are delicious!

Lastly we have this eye-catching page from Carol (carollee). The yellow spoted paper is the perfect foil for those glorious wattle shots and I really like the small strip of lace added at the side. I do so love a little understated elegance – perfect!
