Saturday Scraplift: Circle of Life

Hi all.  Shannon (shannonr) here with this week’s edition of Saturday Scraplift.  This week we are lifting Rache (rache77).  I loved everything about this layout–the color choices, the border across the middle of the page and a great selfie in a circular frame.

As usual, the Creative Team has put together some additional inspiration for you to give you a jumping off point to create your own page.

First up-Valerie (nana_vg).  What an adorable photo of her and her brother when they were young!  Valerie followed Rache’s design pretty closely using a monochromatic color scheme of green.

Next up is Sharon (Shannamay) with a fun wedding selfie.  She also created a colorful border across the middle of the page and scattered some stamps to create a fun background.  She used a notebook edge frame for her circle in the design.

Liz (lizziet) created this gorgeous layout of her daughter using the circle frame and botanicals as her inspiration.

Carol (carollee) created this adorable page of her granddaughter’s costume for book week.  She took her inspiration from the border across the middle of the page.  I love all the little bee details she added to go with that cute photo.  The extraction with the yellow striped paper behind is fabulous as well.

I (shannonr) included two circular photos for my layout.  Around Mother’s Day, I saw a ten year old selfie that my son and I took while I was working for several weeks where he was going to university.  It was fun to be able to celebrate both Easter and Mother’s Day with him that year.  So my layout is a then and now Mother’s Day.
