Saturday Scraplift: Postcard Picture Perfect

Hello. Shannon (shannonr) here for this week’s edition of Saturday Scraplift. This week, we will be lifting Jane (jane_bond7).
Jane created this great layout of her trip to San Francisco based on an advertisement she saw on Pinterest. Her photos are fabulously showcased in this layout. There is so much inspiration to draw on–especially the postcard, map background paper, torn template and filmstrips–all of it especially perfect for a travel page.
The Creative Team has come up with some additional inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.
First up, Stacia with this travel page from her time in Columbus, OH on a recent cross country road trip. She included the map background paper, filmstrips, torn template and a postcard for her journaling just as Jane did. If you follow Stacia, this was a perfect lift for her because one of her hobbies is post-crossing.
Products used: Taped Together Multiphoto Layered Template 01, Postcard Journalers 03, Photo Clusters 51, City Maps Paper Pack 02 and Layer Works 2359.
Addie (AddieG) put together this fun layout of her and her husband enjoying drinks at a favorite spot on Mackinac Island. Addie used a fun stuffed layered edge cluster to include the postcard into her layout. And perfect colors to go with the name of the restaurant/bar.
Products used: Stuffed Layered Edges 01, Photo Clusters 68, Memorable Words Brushes and Stamps 01 and Patterning Palettes 02 ARToptions Paper Pack.
I stuck with almost exactly the same design that Jane had. I included the postcard, torn template and filmstrips. Because my photos are of our time at a seed farm in Texas, I included a lot of flower seed packages to tie it to our destination.
Products used: Wanderer Postcard Journalers 01, Filmed Memories Layered Template 08, Torn Templates 01, Vintage Artistry Serenity Ephemera, Curated Team Favorite Home Grown Kit, Curated Team Favorites Garden Kit, Vintage Farmhouse Garden Solids Paper Pack, Vintage Farmhouse Garden Element Pack, Vintage Farmhouse Garden Sentiment Stamps, Vintage Farmhouse Garden Flairs 02, and Vintage Artistry Wherever Ride Transfers 02.
I hope Jane’s layout or those done by us on the Creative Team will give you some ideas for your “Postcard Picture Perfect” layout.
As always to get credit toward a coupon to use in the KPD store, post your layouts to both the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and the May Challenge Participation thread.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
