February Sketch Challenge

Can you believe that we’re halfway through February already?? Nope – me either! This is Sharon with February’s sketch challenge for you!

This sketch has space for two photos – though you could easily use it for one. The title is on a circular element and a search in the store for Sentiment Spots will give you lots of stamps to choose from. Many kits also have circular elements that could work as well. There is plenty of room underneath the photo grouping for either a few lines of journalling or a more expansive story if you have one to tell. Katie has provided us with a FREEBIE that includes all the “real” items on the sketch.

I do hope we can inspire you to join in this month. I’m sure we can, because four of our talented Creative Team members have made example pages to help us do just that!

First up, we have this lovely page from Shannon (shannonr) to document her son’s ‘Quiet Place’. The gold/cream/white color scheme is really special and certainly conveys a sense of peace and calm.

Our third example today is from Jan (jmgesi) reminiscing on Christmases past with this adorable sibling page. I love all her layers and the beautifully shadowed thread that adds that little bit of movement to the page. Gorgeous!

Finally, we have this beautiful layout from Merrilee (digigrandma). I just want to be there – in that particular piece of paradise! I especially love the layering of the brush over the photo layer – like the sand left on your toes.
