First February Mashup: Take Heart
Hello! It’s Merr (digigrandma) here! When it comes time for my Mashup in February I like to first find a template with a heart theme. I found one I really love and I decided to pair it with the first template in the Creators Workspace Layered Template series. In these two templates you have hearts, a paint box, paint for blending, several photo frames and even a bulleted list for journaling and much more to create your Mashup page for the Mashup Template Challenge.
Creators Workspace Layered Template No 01
Valerie (nana_vg) created this lovely page to showcase a quote which is good advice for young and old. The quote is placed on the little open notebook from one of the templates. Such a great idea! Her eye catching title was created with the Stamped Bookshelf Alpha 04 and her pretty background paper is from Palette Textures Paper Pack 35.
Stacia recently visited her sister in Mexico. She used a bulleted list for her journaling. It works perfectly for the details about her delightful photos. Her extra products are from Vintage Makers Ephemera and Hike More Paper Pack.
Carol (oldbag 165), one of our guest CT members this month, also used the bulleted list to identify each of the adorable photos of babies in her family from over the years as far back as 1905! It’s a brilliant idea for a scrapbook page. Background papers from Palette Textures 22 and Palette Textures 23 complete her page.
Jan (jmgesi), also a Guest Creative Member, created a delightful page with a whimsical look and feel for her fun example of mashing. Love that kitty photo! To go with her loves to read theme, she used Bookish Brushes and Stamps 02 and she also added items from Curated Studio Mix 48.
And, for a final example, my page showcases hockey photos of our youngest grandson. I loved the title art that tells him my heart is full of love for him. I thought it was fun to tuck the paint box on a layer under my photos layers and the paint brush is so cool. I chose papers from Loves Park Paper Pack and Bunny Slope: Rosy Paper Pack for my background
