December Sketch Challenge

Good morning, everyone! Sharon here, with another sketch challenge for you. We have made the sketch look festive for you with our choice of included store items. These are available in the generous FREEBIE that Katie has put together for you. Of course, you can also choose to scrap non-festive photos as well as some of our examples below display. The sketch has room for one large photo. There is also room for two smaller “detail” photos in the slide frames. If you have a photo with some “empty space” (sky for example), you might like to try using that as your banner shape and writing your journalling in the space on your photo for something a little different!

Without further ado – here it is!

Both of our Guest CT members (Kimberley and Candy), made a sample page for me – as did CT member Linda.

First up we have Candy’s (cnewby) great page about Lego Christmas decorations. I love the way she has layered the Hand Drawn Twists under the festive ribbon, and the combination of elegant background paper and starry sparkle is gorgeous!

She used:

Next we have this lovely page of pooches from Kimberley (kimberleyb). She has switched out the slide frames for a film strip frame which gives her a couple more small photo spaces. That Sea Salt Air Paper Pack is one of my favourites!!

And our final example is from Linda (earlofoxford). It celebrates the lovely men in her life and I love the gorgeous blue and yellow colour schemes. Linda has also swapped out the slide frames, but she has used a coin holder frame that gives her the required 3 spots! I think the banner she included just makes this simply lovely layout into something special!
