5th Saturday Scraplift: Creative Team Spotlight

Hi Everyone! Jana here and I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. In the U.S., I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. This is the final 5th Saturday Scraplift this year. Wow! 2026 is just around the corner. Today, I selected Britgirl (Mel) to our CT spotlight. Her gallery is brimming with amazing layouts and inspiration. After you peruse her gallery, feel free to choose any layout you wish to lift. Just remember to add the page link to your credits when you post your own. We will want to see what inspired you!

Several of our team members were quick to choose one of Mel’s page to lift, so let’s get started.

Stacia lifted this cute one of Mel’s dog, Maggie.

Here is Stacia’s page: Katie’s new Chippy Papers have been a big hit and Stacia used them for her layout. I love the wintry feel from her photos and her blending is superb. The blends and clusters are beautiful and of course, the snowflakes are too!

Next, Merr (digigrandma) chose Mel’s layout of her beautiful horse, Whiskey.

Here is Merr’s page, featuring her sweet granddog, Yoshi. She kept close to Mel’s design and colors, which are so beautiful! That photo is so cute with the two dogs meeting on a walk. All of the wonderful elements really bring the focus to them and I love the “hello” overlapping the photo, as if the dogs were talking to each other.

One of our guest team members, Candy (cnewby) lifted this beautiful page:

Here is what she created: The full-page photo is amazing and her title work, along with the arrow pointing to the city, is super creative! How cool is it that she also had a photo featuring such a large hill, as Mel did! I love the simple elements in the top and bottom corners to finish off the look.

I chose this lovely page of Mel with her sister.

Here is my page with me and my sisters. I used an ornate frame along with some floral pieces and a colored filmstrip frame set behind the photo. The Page Blend added some texture to my page and my title was just a matter of using a scripted brush.

Also, be sure and post your link in the November Challenge Participation Sign-in Thread to receive credit for a chance to earn a store coupon. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for your interest in scrap lifting one of our team members. I’ll be back in January with a brand new 5th Saturday Scraplilft.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
