Graphic Challenge July 2025: Doodle Away!

Hi everyone! Amy L here welcoming you to the Graphic Challenge, where we use a graphic as inspiration for a scrapbook page. Here’s this month’s inspiration:

For this month’s challenge, we are using doodles! As Team Member Addie noted, “Doodles are fun!” I like doodles because they are simple and heartfelt, and they can give a page the perfect touch of whimsy. There are lots of doodled and hand drawn products in the Katie Pertiet Designs store. To get you started, Katie has provided a freebie for this challenge here: https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/7Np1xM7Wt5. As always, feel free to use any, all, or none of the freebie products. It’s up to you!

I had lots of help with this challenge from our amazing team members. I’m excited to show you how they interpreted this one!

First up is Addie. Her page features her nieces’ trip to Notre Dame. What a cool place to visit and consider as a university destination! (I wonder if she has decided!) I love these photos showing young people finding their own way, and the background Addie made with the doodled borders is so fabulous! She even used Notre Dame colors on her page.

Supplies Addie used: DoodleDo Borders Brushes and Stamps 02, Doodled and Scripted Love Brushes and Stickers, Classic Frame Layers 01, Curated Team Scrapbook Mix 15, Roughed Up Pocket Cards: Striped 01.

Next up is Sharon who made this lovely page about her granddaughter Tully. I love how Sharon interpreted the inspiration piece! The shapes create so much visual interest. The photo is just wonderful and the wood elements are perfect. The doodled branch and the handwriting font really add to the charm of the page.

Supplies Sharon used: Pencil Line Leaves 01, Krafty Tonals Paper Pack 02, Hike More Element Pack, Hike More Blendable Layers, Pine Creek Element Pack.

Next is Jen who created a fabulous page using some products new to the store. What a fantastic photo on top of whimsical colorful layers, and just look at that sunflower border! Wow! Perfect flower placement with cool yellow paint splatters for color. Love this one!

Supplies Jen used: Hand Drawn Sunflowers Stamp Pack 01, Curated Studio Mix 42, Field Guide Collage Frames 05.

Finally, I jumped on the doodle theme to make a page about my grandson and his journal. I thought using a sketch effect on the photo would be fun. I’m very proud of this little guy!

Supplies I used: Beloved Scrapbook Kit, Blendable Layers 06, Blendable Layers 83, Graphed Notebook Paper Pack 05, Hand Drawn Planner Stamps 01, Pencil Twist Arrows 02.

I hope this month’s graphic and the team pages will inspire you to take part in this challenge!  Please post your pages in the Graphic Challenge Gallery as well as the July Challenge Participation Thread. Enjoy your scrapping!
